Three-time Canadian Screen Award nominee, Clint Butler has spent 20+ years directing animated series for Netflix, Disney, Cartoon Network, and beyond. Based in Vancouver, BC, he has helmed everything from high-octane action — Slugterra, Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, The Deep — to beloved preschool and kids programming like CoComelon Lane and Mighty Express.
As a series director, Clint oversees the entire pipeline from script to final delivery — design, animatics, casting, voice direction, music, visual effects, and color grading. As an episodic director, he keeps productions on time and on budget without sacrificing quality.
He brings a hands-on creative approach and genuine enthusiasm for collaboration, whether working in-studio or with international production partners. Every project is an opportunity to push the work further — and to bring out the best in the teams around him.
